When they click it, a gentle AI interviewer greets them by name and asks one thoughtful question at a time — about their childhood kitchen, their first job, the day they met your other parent. They just talk. Memorate records, follows up on the good threads, and shapes what they said into a finished written story, usually within the hour.
Click one link, or answer a phone call. That's the whole job. No app to download, no account to create, no password to remember. If they can answer the phone, they can use Memorate.
About five minutes of setup: tell us a little about your parent, pick a few topics you'd love to hear about, and send the invite. After each session you'll see the finished story on your dashboard, where you can share it with family or turn it into a keepsake.
Memorate is free while we're in early access — that includes interviews, stories, and your family vault. Printed keepsakes like bound memoirs and photo albums are priced per item when you order them. Early-access families lock in founder pricing when paid plans arrive.
Yes. Recordings, photos, and stories are encrypted in transit and at rest, stored with redundant backups, and never sold, shared, or used to advertise to you. Your family's memories belong to your family — full stop.
Only you and the people you explicitly invite. Each vault is private by default. You decide, story by story, what gets shared with siblings, cousins, and grandkids.

Yes. Beyond the free download, we can ship your whole vault — audio, photos, and finished stories — on a USB drive for a small handling fee, so there's a copy on the shelf at home that needs no app or login to open.
